BEST Network members are welcome to use all of the images in Slice for their teaching. Content in the BEST Network is contributed by our members and collaborators for non-commercial education use. For each image we record the contributor and their institution so you know who to acknowledge. On Slice this information is presented in the ‘Provenance’ section of the descriptive data.

Images
When referencing an image sourced from the BEST Network please include the following information: Contributor's name; Copyright owner (may be presented as the Contributor's institution); BEST Network; and a direct link to the content. If the image has any watermarks, these should not be removed from the image.

Annotation layers
If you wish to reference annotations made on an image please include the Contributor's name; Copyright owner (may be presented as the Contributor's institution); BEST Network; the name of the creator of the annotation layer; the title of the layer; a direct link to the layer and the date accessed.
